What is this part off of my carb?

These 2 parts came off the carb when cleaning it, no idea where they came from. Does anyone know what they are and where they go? Im looking at the carb diagram and not sure what they are.

After cleaning, they go back in long side down in to the passageway.

Okay thanks, they do fit down there, however, is the main jet supposed to not be able to fully screw in?

I think that is correct, you check yourself there by looking through the main passageway where the butterfly is, you should see the tip of the jet you mentioned above. When you see it, and the jet is snugged in, you are golden.

Are the needle jets protruding up into the venturi?
