Pulled the bike out of the garage after not riding it for a month, put on my winter wings, drove over to Cycle Gear and bought a balaclava. Then I went for a 45 minute ride. It was a nice sunny 30 out.

I'll have to do the same when I do some more work with the carbs.

I think my CBR250 hugger came in. Got to pick it up at the front office

Post pictures of the hugger! I'm going to try that on the pre-gen once I get around to actually ordering it. More worried about getting paint on a few model rockets right now...

Those 16 mm M4's should work for your carb bowls, but I think the brackets for the diaphragm caps might be different on the new gen. The thread I used for reference was on a newgen and said that the 3 on the diaphragm caps with brackets on them needed longer ones, I double checked those 3 and they seemed right for me. Maybe the brackets are different between the new and old generation bikes?

Been sitting for a while so got it out along with the rest, put some fresh gas in em and some sta-bil. It actually fired up first without any issues...which is more than I can say for the others.

I got new gloves today for myself. Happy birthday a few days early choneofakind!

finally got my last 8 hex head screws for my carbs and re-installed the carbs. Also, replaced the spark plugs, and have a chain + sprocket + cbr250 hugger + new brake lever coming in the mail

Went for a ride up and around the Calaveras loop. Only 30 miles or so, but it was good to get the ninjette back on the road; it was sitting for a few weeks. Took a little effort to get it started, but once up and running it cleared its throat just fine and performed great!

Today I unlocked the shed. Adjusted my baby's cover. Patter her on the bottom. Shed a tear thinking its still months before I can ride her again. Locked the shed back up and shuffled away.

Ha, I had a similar reaction, but without the gear. It is warmer now, so I may suit up and go.

It's nice to have a bulletproof little bike that is loads of fun, but still willing to start up after sitting.

Today I am putting the bottom center fairing back on. Yesterday I took it off, cleaned 4+ years of grease and road grime from it and epoxied a couple of super strong magnets in it. Of course, they may or may not trigger those damn traffic light sensors - we have a lot of them here, so it's worth a shot.

I'm putting on my ram mount for a garmin nuvi1450, lubing the chain, putting in a 12v accessory slot, giving her a good cleaning and some TLC.

Got my new one put on today as well! Also took it out and did a quick detail on it. I need to actually wash it completely though. I'll try and get a few pics up of it later today.

It's a 2012 SE. However, from the factory it came with power ranger stripes:

I serviced my swingarm and uni trak linkage! Once again, thank you PO for keeping my bike in pristine condition!!! Normal wear, no discoloration or rust! There's a lot of little pieces in there...

My CBR250R hugger should get here today. That should be interesting to fit to my swingarm seeing as the pre-gen is a little narrower than the new-gen's

Decided to leave some tire marks on the road from being cut off. Rear tyre screeched some and I felt it drift side to side, rode it out, nothing bad happened other than my nerves and anger.

I know. For some reason, ever since I installed my SS brake line, my front brake feels weaker. I don't know, maybe I was just expecting more braking power than it actually gave me and it's just in my head. Or maybe dirty brake pads?
