Ninja 300 Lime Green L/R Seat Panel?

Hi all,

*I'm Kevin, a new member. I'm an english teacher out in Thailand, originally from San Francisco. I replaced my old carberated CBR150 with a 2014 Ninja 300 Special Edition ABS about two weeks ago. Love the bike. Took off all the stickers as soon as I got it, but will have to wait to take the tank stickers off until I can find a paint shop.

I replaced the black front upper cowling with a lime green one from the ninja 250 today, so the entire front end is solid green. Really stands out nicely.

What I want to do is REPLACE THE TWO PLASTIC PANELS BENEATH THE SEAT WITH LIME GREEN ONES. I've seen pictures of bikes with these parts on google, but I can't find green on the Kawasaki parts website for any of the 2012 Ninja 250, 2013 Ninja 300, or the 2014 Ninja 300.

The part, number 53065-0026-### is available in black, red, and white for the 2014 model.

Does anyone know where to find these parts, or do I have to paint the panels when I paint the tank? Thanks in advance.
-Kevin

*This is a repeat post since I got a message that I can't post this in the marketplace since I'm a new member.

Nope. That's the rear seat cowl. I mean the part directly in front of it, right under the seat. I accidentally ordered those exact parts for left and right sides, and now have to sell them, so I'm not winning any genius awards.

On the American and Thai versions, these parts are black, white, or orange-red. I've searched and searched, and it appears that the UK version is the only one (that I can find) that has this part in Lime Green stock.

Short of emailing a UK dealer for the parts, I can't think of how to get it.

Thanks the for the reply. The search is still on.

The version I have looks like this.

The UK version looks like this:http://www.seastarsuperbikes.co.uk/K...00B_LIM_RS.jpg

Look directly beneath the seat. See the difference? One's black, the other's green, and oh boy does it look cleaner.

Maybe this is a better picture. http://www.iamabiker.com/motorcycle-...-review-india/

It's not the piece between the rider and pillion seats. It's the two pieces on either side of the seat, behind and beneath the tank. It's pretty confusing to talk about, so no wonder google is giving me a headache.

Thanks for the swift replies.

Sorry Kevin

That one comes in Red, Ebony or Grey for 2013
and black, orange or white for 2014

Remember Neither 2013 nor 2014 Thai versions came with green there
Even the Green bikes had black there for both 2013 & 2014
Kawasaki Thailand will not sell other countries color codes even if made here ( I tried )

You could have yours wrapped or painted though very easy in Thailand

Also here is the 2013 blowup
You are referring to part 53065 in A/F/L ( ebony/gray/red )colors for 2013
which were ebony,gray & red

Yup, you nailed it on the head. I can't find the parts because they don't exist. I've emailed dealers in the UK and India. The bikes in the pictures have them in green. It's my one last shot. Otherwise, it's off to the paint shop. …or a wrap? Kind of a newbie here, so I'm guessing that's a layer of melted-on plastic or something?

Thanks for the reply. I really appreciate it.

Sure just google car wrap or paint wrap etc.
Very good result & you have the option of peeling it off.
When done you will not know it from paint & two small panels like that would
be cheap to do. Painting is also cheap.

But yes take a look at wrapping you will be amazed to see how it looks
even whole cars done

Thanks man, will do. That's what I love about Thailand. All the manual work that would be expensive in the states is dirt cheap here.

So… Paint tank and side panels. Next stop, fixin the dang seat.

That is very true about labor costs
Even new fairings from Kawasaki are inexpensive here

Remember if painting your tank if it was the dominant color & you change to check your green book

In Thailand if you change the color of your bike as described in your green book you need to go to the DMV & have your green book changed too.

Can't read the language, but none of the green shapes seemed to fit. I think I'll go with the previous suggestion and wrap the side plates, repaint the gas tank, and go from there.

Thanks for the link.

I painted mine. I actually picked up a cheap green one on ebay yesterday. Not sure what the deal with that one is, but it was cheap so even if it's actually a non-matching paint job, I'll just repaint it.

Hi Roland,

That one is a different panel.
The reason being that in reality the number I gave 53065
was just the prefix or ref number
The actual part number is as shown in the second column of the parts list pic I posted

see here for a good online listing of OEM ref numbers & part number

For me that's no prob at all, I'd only wanted to show you that in Germany you could get it.
