Low Beam Good, High Beam dead

I was looking at the schematics to the headlight and it seems as if there are 2 bulbs (high and low) on the diagram but after some research this isn't the case. Now I'm curious why when I switch to my highbeam it turns the bulb off while the lowbeam runs fine?

It uses an H4 bulb, which has 2 filaments; one for low, one for high. It only runs one filament at a time, either low or high.

So basically, your high beam filament is burnt out. Get a new bulb.

PS: I think you're referencing a wiring schematic for the 08-12 bikes. Those have 2 headlight bulbs.

It's just a standard H4 bulb. They can be found at any auto parts store, or Walmart.

They also have it at harbor freight. Whatever one you get, don't get the super bright ultra halogen bulbs (varying nomenclature). Just get the standard el cheapo ones they hide from you. The super brights get too hot, take too much power, don't last very long, and cost a lot more. I've seen them damage the wiring on cars before because they draw too much power and get too hot.
