I am not looking to bump up too fast i could care less about the letter on the front of my bike, i just know i was very frustrated at buttonwillow not being able to pass on the inside. There were like 4 different bikes that drifted around so much and with the lack of power on the 250 i had to put a bit of work in to pass them outside.

I know chuckwalla is better as there is more track to use so i figure i can exit faster slingshot past on the outside and be into the next set of curves before they hit the straights lol.

My goal this track day is to keep working on BP, Clean lines and fluid transitions and picking my speed up.

I want to race so damn bad!

Chuckwalla's a wide track so you'll have plenty of places to pass them. And maybe you should have a CR follow you and see if you're ready to bump up.

Honestly, I didn't feel comfortable in A group when I did my NRS. I felt like there were too many people out on the track. The first couple of morning sessions were great but the afternoon was crowded. There were actually 20 riders that day in A Group. Yeah, seems like there's 50+ when you're getting lapped.

I'm teasing...

No worries man...I felt the same way my first time doing NSR. You'll get better & faster but it won't happen in C Group at your skill level. The more you ride with people who are slightly better than you on 250s the better you'll become because you'll understand/see which areas we're faster/slower.

Being close to the other bikes doesnt worry me if I had any confidence they will hold there lines but at buttonwillow there were a few that were so sketchy on lines I wanted to be as far away from them as possible lol.

I'll see how it goes and get a control rider or two to watch me see if I am ready or not. If I am I am, if I am not I'll just work harder.

I'm like 15 minutes from Long Beach but may not be able to carpool since I'm hauling two bikes. Although, if I get a small trailer I can fit 3 racers and their bikes.

But I also leave early Thursdays 2 or 3pm.

I'll be there sunday, Jan 22nd. My 250 is fixed so I may be bringing that out this time to preview chuckwalla and see how I like it. High probability I'll end up running it in cvma if it lives up to all the great things i've been hearing.
