Rear Hub Question

Hello!!!

I have just bought a 300 rear wheel for my 250 to get that extra 1/2 inch but it does not have Rotor or Hub.

I know my current rotor will fit but a have not been able to find any info about the hub.

Will my 250 hub fit in the 300 wheel??

Any info will be really appreciated.

Update.

Just to let you all know that the rear hub from a 250r does fit a 300 rear wheel.

Every thing is working great and the 150 tire looks a lot better in the 4" width rim. Not so "curved"

Regards

Not sure what you mean by rear-hub vs. rear-wheel....

Hub is centre section that axle goes through. Contains bearings.

Wheel.... is typically hub + rim. On these Ninjas, hub + rim is one-piece combo.

So 250R hub is part of 250R wheel and cannot be separated.
And a 300 hub is part of 300 wheel and cannot be separated.
It's not possible to use 250R hub with 300 rim, or vice-versa, unless you cut off rim and weld it onto spokes of other wheel.

Thanks DannoXYZ

I'm sorry... I think I used the wrong name... The part I am referring to is the COUPLING-ASSY, RR HUB with the following part numbers:

250R 42033-0030
300 42033-0574

Hope this helps someone in the future.

Ahh.. I true, that part can be called "Rear Wheel Drive Sprocket Mounting Hub". I usually use sprocket-carrier, fewer words! Yes, they do interchange between pre-gen 250, new-gen 250R and 300. I got set of hollow 6/4 titanium studs and saved about 300gm from rear wheel!
