led strip... bad idea? too low?

Hello. A headlight should be on its way soon. In the meantime I'm fooling around with this led strip. I'm just wondering if it's mounted too low that the fender could hit it at some point..

Thoughts? Advice?

But bright enough

It will throw more light than the Lucas headlight on my 72 Bonnie...

Q: At night, how do you know you Lucas headlight isn't working?
A: Everyone is yelling at you...

Q: Why do Brits drink warm beer?
A: Lucas makes their refrigerators...

You get the picture.
These two have been around for years.
Cheers,

You'd have to try it yourself. I feel it works better than the OEM headlight on my pregen.

Some of those throw out plenty of clean white light!!!

Too low??? Does it hit when your forks bottom out, an does it project right? If the answers are no an yes; In that order then, yes it's perfect.

I really like the light it throws.

I ended up fabricating a mount. I didn't test if it would hit when the forks bottom out...

Now you guys have me eyeing one of those lights to build my own dive light ... If they are bright. I will just need a nice lithium battery and I will be in business.

In the mean time I will stick with my projector on my bike., that s nice an bright
