Hey i found this on a facebook event sound like a great opportunity to meet and ride for a cause and have a 250r presence at this event check it out

Sunday, 9/11/11 is the 10th Anniversary of the single most devastating and murderous day in American history .In the years since I and many, many others have been meeting on the evening of each September 10th for a quiet, respectful memorial ride to Ground Zero.

Again this year motorcycle riders of all types, from all over the country, will be gathering at New York City Harley Davidson, 42-11 Northern Blvd., Long Island City, NY at 10 PM on the night of 9/10/11 for a Midnight Run to Ground Zero.

I get out of work like 5pm on Sat and I don't plan on staying out too late since I'm going fishing at 7am on Sunday out of Captree. So if you guys ride Sat, I may tag along.

As far as I know the meeting place is:

It doesn't show up on the events section on their website though. From what I remember, last year people parked in the Pathmark parking lot across the street.

I'm in for a meet and ride to Harley Davidson. I'm meeting friends for the ride but not sure if meeting at HD or riding there with them. Please let us know if you guys meet somewhere, and at what time.

Santana....could pick you up @ Cross island and Jamaica ( jericho)
Ron....coming from NJ ?.....Hmmmmmm....I guess maybe we could do the ride backwards and pick you up at that first coffe/gas stop north of GWB on Pal Interstate ?
WE could take pal Inter to Bear Mtn...play there and then head acroos hudson up to Cold Spring and then across 301 to Taconic south.
Ron could go back across Cross Bronx to GWB to get back the NJ ?
Does that sound right ?

Hey Eddie... just got back from the WTC ride..I think I won't be able to get up early for this one and unfortunately have some work to do..Thanks for the invite though..I'll try to come next time since I haven't been to Bear Mtn. ride safe.
