Missing Vacuum Hose?

Hello all,

Trying to put back together my 2008 Ninja 250R after being in storage for over a decade.

I can't figure out what hose (vacuum?) goes from here to where. (see pic, red circle).

Did you figure it out? On my bike its also hoseless. Maybe it's supposed to be.

My 2005 is different. Getting on my hands and knees with a flashlight, it appeared that there are a couple hoses in that area, but not like they'd be in your photo. I didn't think that information would be helpful to you so I didn't answer.

I just checked Partzilla, and the air cleaner parts diagram doesn't show anything connected there, but you probably already saw that.
