It's for an 08+, & I'm unsure on the length, the bike as at my buddy's in Charlotte right now.

I'd guess 18".......but I have my wife convinced that 3" is 5", so.......

easy way, for me a least, to tell is if the Area P logo is right next to the mount bracket or further back.
Logo by hangar = 12" can, further back is the 18" |
