I really want the Red SE paint scheme, but not sure if it will match the red paint job for the 2009 tank. I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on this. I wish more people had bought a kit. One bad experience just isn't that convincing.

Are u getting the fairing for a repair or coz u like the look, I did mine as a cheap repair, it worked out, was a hassle but the end result is I suppose ok, you get what you pay for, at the end of the day I got the bike back on the road. There are a few small issues but overall it is better than paying what the dealers wanted for OEM.

I had a lowside last year and the sliders didn't do a very good job. I figured if I was going to fix it, I might as well change the look while I'm at it.

I highsided mine and smashed me and my fairings to pieces so a replacement was necessary, but if it was just paint, I would have taken it to my mates spray shop in hind site. The ABS panels they make shrink when they cool down and really struggle to fit.

sliders aren't meant to protect the fairings. They're meant to protect important parts of the frame and engine from dragging on the ground in the case of a wreck.
If your frame and engine are good after low-siding, I would say that the sliders did a good job at doing what they were designed for. |

Hi y'all I bought my fairings from eBay and they fit really good. It came with a solo seat cover, carbon fiber tank pad, and tinted windscreen. Below was the ebay posting I bought if from. He's a good seller and really nice. Shipping came really quick around a week.
Look at my profile pics if you want to see them on my bike. Below is the eBay posting of the same fairings I have from the same seller if you want to check them. Hope this helps someone. http://www.ebay.com/itm/KAWASAKI-EX2...#ht_7360wt_802

Yes it fits really good and snug. I had to use the rubber grommets and screws from the stock fairings but that wasn't a issue. Everything worked out well-- the only thing I ran into that took a bit more time was the headlight since it didn't use the same bracket. I went to home depot and purchase the same small screws that is used for the side fairings which also fit the treading on the inside of the headlight fairing. Also the side mirrors needed a thicker rubber peice than the one that is on our bikes now.

These are my eBay specials!!!
The only issue I had was with the belly lining up correctly but it still beats OEM pricing* |
