2009 ninja 250 blinker probs

About 50% of the time the left blinker on my bike will just stay lit and not blink but the other half of the time it blinks. What could be causing this?

I had a signal bulb with a filament that was broken, but randomly reconnecting. So the good signal would flash or stay on depending on whether the questionable bulb was working or not.

Next time this happens, leave it on and look to see if one of the two signals isn't lit. Have you recently replaced signals? Another culprit would be a terminal connector not making enough contact.

It would help to mention if the bike is stock or not.

Did you check the wires and switch?

Yes, check the wires to the bulb and the flasher relay that's underneath the seat IIRC. You should hear it clicking if you get close enough.

EDIT: after washing my bike, the right side would flash but the left wouldn't and stayed solid on the indicator. It was just the wiring near the seat that had came undone. So check the wiring at the bulb and the wiring at the clip (follow the wire). It could also just be dirty especially if you've never cleaned down there
