lol... not ragging you man... That's an assumption I'm making... I really have no idea if the shift rod is included. I'd like confirmation from ride2max of what exactly is included in the kit and see some pictures of what exactly will ship.

This is a great solution for street style rear sets. What are the max measurements from the stock position like up and back? Also can the adjustments made to the brake hose and switch be done in a way with out modifying or cutting anything? Just in case I want to put it back to original.

yeah, I also wanted to know that. ride2max, how did you deal with the rear brake light cable? You said it had to be "adjusted", in what way exactly and how did you do it? pics would be great, and like kkim said, a list of what is included in this kit. Thanks for your time man! cheers!

Since you're literally moving the entire rearset, the master cylinder is mounted to the rearset and hence nothing to moves as the entire assembly moves. The hose will be a tad longer, but it shouldn't need shortening. As for adjusting the brake light (which again would not be needed by changing to the 'extender') it is simply adjusted up or down here:

The shift rod is come together with the extender, dun worry guys, i will included the screws, washers n a simple photo installation guide too. Regrading with the brake hose n brake light cable, same as VeX mention, u just need to adjust the brake hose on your liking if u dun wan to shorten it, for me i just make it look clean n neat. Same goes to the brake light cable, dun need to do any shortening as it can be adjust what shown from Vex photo or u also can adjust it under the rider seat, i will show it in the simple installation guide.

Here i show u a photo of clear view how it look like on the brake hose n brake light cable. Sorry for showing my dirty bike, when i riding home back from work, the sky suddenly rain.

Installation menu included too, sorry for not shown here coz havent ready yet, so sorry guys. There no need any extra or special tools to mount the extender, u can use your stock tools to do it.

Just to let you guys know, I just placed my order. If you are on the fence about this, perhaps you would like to see how my transaction goes through and how the install is before you make a decision.

ride2max advises me the product will ship in few days after he cuts a set.

Hi there, The hugger is nice but need to adjust the position on top the arm cover, so maybe u need to drill the holes longer to make it in the right position. For the arm cover it fit nicely without doing any adjusting. It dont need to be remove when u try to clean the chain.

Dennis, would it be possible to send 2 link rods with the kit with the second one being about 1/2" shorter than the present one? I could not use the bottom, forward most position on the plates due to the it being too long.

I'm sure it works fine with the other positions farther up, but it does not work for that one position. Even in the one I am using (lowest, farthest back), the link is at a very severe angle due to the length.

Dennis,

Not at all. It was more of a comment on how the kit could be made better and was just trying to give my feedback to make it perfect.

Hello. Are you going to include another extender or revamp the design of the current one or thread it more then let buyers cut to length?
What type of metal are these made out of and whats the finish?
Again great idea. Maybe it'll influence companys who make rearsets for this bike think about their prices a little harder. I've seen rearsets for other bikes cost way less.

Hi bro, i will use back the same design. May i ask what do you mean by let the buyers cut to the length?

The metal i using now is mild steel so coating can be done on it.

If possible, i like to find distributors for my kits at US, so i can cut the cost on the material as i can do it on bigger production as well can cut the cost on the shipping fee. If anyone interest, can PM me for details.

As for the link rod, i already design a new one that can fit all the settings.

I'm going to ask you the same thing about this product as I did about your other one. Do you know if this fits pregens? Woodcraft says their rearset for the newgen 250 also fits the pregen, leading me to believe that the dims are the same... Any idea on the truth of this? Thanks and nice product, even if I can't get one.
