Yeah, but watch if you park your bike in the sun a lot. The anodizing will fade.

I have a silver/black shorty set on order and will be installing WC clip-on's, doing the zip-tie throttle mod, and putting on gel grips at the same time.

I can't wait for everything to arrive.

Or you could plasti-dip them. Just thought of that. My friend has these as they only really faded near the ends. So you could plasti-dip up to right before the adjusters.

Do these ebay levers negatively affect any functionality?

get a nut while you are at it 92210A

the perch and bolts on the clutch side seem to be cheesy and installed wrong from factory. I had a problem with the perch stripping out without me doing it and I heard someone else did the same.

When I added my ebay levers I also had to add a new perch and nut.
For whatever reason, this is normal.

ebay levers been working fine on both bikes I owned the last few years.
I pick the solid one piece ones like you have here in shorty.

How come when people talk about exhaust systems, they say buy the real thing..... stay away from the knock offs.
But, when it comes to levers....... its buy away???

Well, for one thing, the entire levers market is a ripoff of someone else. Pazzo's were ripoffs of CRG's. The ebay ones are ripoffs of Pazzo's. IMO It's just a tiny piece of metal that is sold pretty cheaply, with nowhere near the R&D necessary compared to an exhaust or any other mechanical part of the bike.

Yeah the Chinese can make one part on a cnc machine from CAD and then throw it into a 3D printer/scanner and remake it a million times without thinking about it. I don't think exhaust can be made this way but I could be wrong.
A high quality exhaust with a brand name on it will usually sound just a hair more throaty and not so rippy over a less expensive exhaust too. They include things like interchangeable cores etc etc.

The tubes have to be cut and bent on mandrels and the welding has to look nice and be functionally sound too. Then it has to be tuned. It's tricky to make a good exhaust.

Alex,

How are your levers holding up? I'm planning on getting a set of levers to replace my stock ones... and I'm torn between getting the ones off of ebay, or a set of Pazzo's.

If I decide to get the Pazzo's I'm thinking of making it a road trip up to B.C. and pick them-up at there Langely B.C. location. Let me know how they're holding up>

Thanks

I also believe I have the same exact ones. Was supposed to get green but was sent black...Oh well, not going to wait another month for shipping to and from Hong Kong to get a different color. Black will look just fine :P

thats the same exact seller and product i bought, except I asked for green with titanium adjusters...and got black with red adjusters...kind of annoyed by it but not going to wait another month to ship them back and get a different pair. Might just end up buying from someone else who speaks english in their auctions..

Tyler.... saw your post about getting the wrong ones shipped to you.. if I had known that you wanted to part with them I would have offered to take them off your hands... I had already made my purchase thou... sorry,

You should post them up in the for sale section of the board... I'm sure you wouldn't have any problems selling them.

i got a set of green and black ones and i love the feel, theyve held up great, were easy to install and ive had a bunch of compliments on them

Do you have a green bike to match? If so, how do the two greens match? Reason im asking is I have a 2009meeting special edition and im playing with the idea of putting these on. Not sure though what accent color I should add so green would be a safe bet...

Lovin those rearsets Monk, I have my green/black pair coming in the mail thursday from Bohemian
thanks nikkita, yea i love em, with those and the WC clip ons it really gives it a sportbike feel. i was thinking about the green and black combo but i went flashy w the straight green.

FYI you can use the Sato DIY install on this site to install the bohemians. any questions check the group by thread, chances are someone had the same issue u may have. also, ur rear brake sensor will need to be replaced w a pressure switch. dennis sells them at bohemian for $17. we didnt find this out till we got em. all in all they are great rearsets and dennis is a great customer service man. highly recommended.

anyone else looking for rearsets can check out the Bohemian group buy thread in marketplace here on the forum. dennis may still give u the group buy discount of $220 shipped! great price for an excellent product.

no u can install them but ur back brake light wont come on till u get the sensor. most people use the front at same time anyway so its not a huge deal, i want mine working tho so im gonna order my sensor soon. ive been riding without for a few weeks now, no issues.

alot of guys use them for the track bikes too for racing which u dont worry about a rear brake light anyway.

u can check the thread for the group buy, again some guys got the sensor and some didnt and everyone is happy.
