Touch-up paint?

While I was getting off of the bike last week I dropped my keys on to the gas tank and chipped the paint

Not a real big chip, but big enough... I was thinking about heading over to the locale hobby shop and picking up a small bottle of black paint and just touching up the chip that way.

Just wondering if this was advisable, or if you folks had a better suggestion

Thanks

+1 for ColorRite. Only place to really get OEM colours because theres no actual paint code...
But if its a tiny little scratch its probably not enough to notice the difference anyways, and nailpolish will work just as well...

Thanks for the suggestions... I never thought about using nailpolish, I may consider that, but I'll probably get some touch-up paint from ColorRite
