Ninja go bye bye

My Metallic Island Blue beauty is sold. I will miss that bike. It went to a great home, however. As the buyer was riding past me on his test drive with his black gear (I have mostly black gear) I nearly shed a tear.

I told him I hadn't known how good I looked riding it! He laughed. Which doesn't reflect well on me. That made me shed another, more hurtful, tear.

I will most probably be owning another small Ninja at some future point. The 300 looks like a likely candidate.

Truth be known, I'd be better off on the Ninja for the city riding I often do. The Ducati has it's many charms. One of them is decidedly NOT slow speed handling. Not as 'flickable' as the Ninja either, but what is?

I had a Pendleton & Seven in it's honor yesterday. That seemed such a good idea, I decided to have another. Ride on, Island Blue Ninja, ride on.
