From 250 to 800

So I sold my SuMo today and on the way home bought a Vulcan 800 . I wasn't planning on it but with a pocket full of change I couldn't resist the Kawasaki dealership's allure.

Well there she is. Next to my other baby (1998 Ram 1500).

Gratz! This is the bike I was going to buy if I had stayed with cruisers. Lemme know how it goes after some good long rides. Nice color!

I really like the bike so far because there isn't too much chrome, it's just tasteful. The one problem so far are the pipes, too quiet. I don't want to annoy people or deafen myself but I also don't want to sound like a scooter. I have seen videos on YouTube on how to de-baffle the pipes and I like the way they sound.

Nice bike my father had an 800, and my brother now has an 800. I have a 1500 and like it, although am looking for something else. I think you'll like it.

Nice bike dude. Ride safe and enjoy. You U.S. guys in the warm states are so lucky. Here in Toronto Canada we only have a few more months of riding left. Where you are you can ride all year round. I am so jealous. Once again, nice bike!

Yeah but we pay for it in the summer. Where I'm at it was around 110-115 last week. Personally I don't ride nearly as much during the summer because if it's too hot to wear a jacket, helmet, pants, boots, and gloves then I don't ride.

Nice bike... I like the Vulcan's for cruisers... I've ridden several at the Kawi Demo Days while waiting for sport bikes... if I was a cruiser guy I'd seriously consider one!

Yeah I agree. I tried out basically all the other cruisers and none of them fit me as well. Tried Triumphs, Victorys, Harleys, and the ones from the other 3 Jap manufacturers never thought I would pick the Vulcan till I sat on one.
