My butt is sore....New Bike Day!!

Today I scored a CBR 600F3 Smoking Joes Edition which was Miguel Duhamels' endorsed/sig bike. I've loved the color scheme on them since I started biking and I found one in near mint condish for a steal of a price. Only drawback was to drive 95 miles to pick it up and ride 95 miles back home.

Here are some pics the seller took. I'll take some tomorrow as the sun has already set here in LA.

Initial impressions - wow. I love it. So smooth and powerful. No

Wooohoooo!

Thanks Kelly - it fits me a lot better not to mention feels a lot more stable on the freeway than my old pre-gen. I drove it today for 9x miles and I loved it.

CBR600's are amazing bikes. I have owned 3 CBR600F's. F2, F4, F4i. Loved them all.

Sweet ride - now you need some gear to go with the great colors. Enjoy.

I love the bikes from the 90s and the very early 2000s cuz of their awesome color schemes. The bikes now are sweet but they are mainly one solid color and nothing awesome either.

Nice!!! Looks like you were lucky enough to get an unmolested bike too! Original pipe, reflectors on it, stock blinkers and rear fender intact... nice find!

Top of my list would be:

New Pipe (Go for a more classic looking pipe. Not some stupid tri-euro-tip-carbon-GB-slashcut job. It suits the more classic bike design.)
K&N Filter
Jet Kit
APE Manual Cam chain tensioner <--- You NEEEEED this. All CBR600's need it.
Vortex sprockets +2/-1 520 conversion with a DID X-ring gold chain
Competion Werkes Fender elminator.

That would make the bike complete... it also happens to be a list of all the mods I had on my F2

Out of all your suggested mods - I'm only gonna do the fender elim and maybe the APE Manual CCT.
