boots
I'm looking for riding boots.
Which would you pick between these 2? Sidi Blade riding boots or Alpinestars S-mx 2? Thanks, Tin 2009_Alpinestars_S-MX_2_Boot.jpeg 2009_Sidi_Blade_Riding_Shoes_Black.jpeg |

can't go wrong either way, pretty much the same shoe from two high-quality brands. smx2's are a little more affordable - take your pick

get a pair of smx5s instead! full boot... great quality... comfy... can't go wrong. and if you crash with them you won't break your ankle like you would with those loafers you posted.

Sandels or Meijer Neon Green Flip-flops are the way to go!

Actually these 2 choices look a little "peter pan" so to speak.

LOL they do look a little peter-panish.....
But which one's waterproof? If neither, then go with the cheaper of the two! |

I would pick the sidi... but only because I'm lazy and prefer only velcro/zipper as compared to roller blade-style buckles lol

I ended up getting these: http://www.newenough.com/street/boot...cle_boots.html
and I love them... probably higher than what you would want to get, but still very comfortable, less expensive, and if you get them shipped to a local dealer, you will most likely get them cheaper than online where you will be paying retail + shipping. (EX: would've cost me around 180 if I bought them online, got them for 120 at the dealers after a 2 day wait) |

I have the S-mx 2 and am pretty happy with them, have had them for about 3 months. The only thing about them is that you need to watch out for the sizing. I ended up with a 42 Euro size (says its equivalent to 8 U.S.) when I am usually a 9.5 in U.S. sizes, so they run big. I wear these with the icon knee/shin armor and they make a pretty good combination IMO. I don't have experience with the other boots...

^Are those smx-2 lasting well? i have the alpinestars one-o-one boots (kinda where my only choice since I didn't want to order things online but I'll just do that now) and they are getting worn from me shifting which is kinda lame for something specifically designed for motorcycling. I also have the icon knee and shin guards and they are pretty good
