I test rode a 636 before buying the 250 - I can agree about the slipper clutch, the lack of one makes downshifting the little 250 seem quite different.

I got off the bike with adrenaline flowing like crazy and thoughts of youtube clips of bike hauling ass in traffic had me sold - the ride to the bank brought reality back in my head and I decided that I watch too much IOM TT and have no fear of crashing, so calmer minds prevailed and I bought the 250 will staring at the 636.

Enjoy the bike - looks badass....

yeah when i traded it in i told them i was going to take the aftermarket stuff off and they said they liked the clipons and the pipe and they would give me extra for them on the trade in so vince since the fork caps are still coming to you if you want since i already paid for them you can give them to someone on the site that wants them for free courtesy of me.

Nice!! I've always wanted a 636, enjoy it.

Yeah I def agree about the clutch part... As I decided to downshift at such high rpms on 250 and dropped the clutch for the hell of it. Suddenly the rear tire spins out, and I was drifting...
