I also need a fairing! Left side. Color doesn't matter. I'll just paint it to match the bike once I have some money for it.

They are the same. Just flip them over so the drainage hole points down (rear left to front right, rear right to front left).

The price doesn't look too bad - I'll just ship it to you. Hopefully, you'll be able to put it to good use, instead of just laying around my garage.

PM me the ship to address when you have a chance. I'm crazy busy at work though - probably won't get a chance to ship until next Saturday 10/15, via UPS ground - which should get to you a few days after that, OK?

Anyone have a spare of this screw?

Long story, short: I stripped down my Ninja to take a look at a slow coolant leak and put the screws that hold the fairings on back in their respective holes so I didn't lose them. Took the bike for a test ride and realized when I got back that half the screws/bolts fell out on my test ride. Ordered a replacement bolt kit but it doesn't include the screw (outlined in pic below) that holds the side plastic pieces on. I've got one of them still so I only need one. To order the replacement OEM screw, with shipping was like $10+. Figured I'd see if some kind Ninjetter would have a spare they'd be willing to part with for a small fee.

They are the same as you find on and under the battery box. I may have one because my battery box no longer attaches to the undertail (aftermarket undertail).

That said, I did the exact same thing and lost two aftermarket blue bolts that go on my LH lower fairing and I already gave Adrian my extras.

The threads should also be the same as the ones holding the fairings on, so if you've got extra of those, you should be okay, though it won't match.

2008 CP blue parts.. for left side

went down about a week ago [story in crash thread with pix] ..

i really need a left side fairing..and the left tail piece as well.. those are my main concerns.. i could also use a left turn signal and a left mirror..

willing to pay for any of these things AND shipping!.. they dont necessarily have to be the candy plasma blue color.. i can have them painted.

please please please.

Sometime in the near future I will have one for you. I have my WC clip-ons, I just need to install them. When I do, you pay to ship em, and the stock bars are yours

P.S.- The right side is bent a little, but the left is like new

I'm going to be putting on some Wood Crafts as well Haley since my right side handlebar is bent (woo...)

If your deal with Andy doesn't work out send me a message and I'll give you the same deal (just pay shipping) for the left side bar, assuming something doesn't go horribly wrong

I got stealth gloves Shift racing - Size: Small.

They are really tight on my hands and I don't feel like returning. Who wants?

Small with a 8 above the S but a 7 under F2 whatever that means.

Gloves are gone

Just got my first bike this weekend and joined Ninjetter yesterday. Since I bought used, there are a few screws missing. Was wondering if anyone has an extra bolt; the same one that reaubideux needed (pictured above)?

Also, the bike is missing a few screws here and there. For example, like in the back where the tail light is and the screws that hold the seat on. Any idea where to get those?

Thanks!

There's nothing particularly unique about the fasteners on the bike, and if you can find something that fits from a local hardware store, odds are it will be a fraction of the price of the OEM-version screw/bolt. There are also sites like www.bikebolts.com, where they sell wide varieties of different types of common bolts/nuts/fasteners for motorcycles.

But - there is always the option of going to the parts diagram and ordering the exact same bolt from a place like bikebandit, ron ayers, or even the kawi dealer.

Upper Fairings/Cowlings

I'm looking for some cowlings. Due to some good/bad luck (see crash page) I am in need of a 250R gen1 (red would be nice) and a 2009 500R (blue would be nice). Willing to pay used prices but as a college kid now with some med bills to pay money is not flowing so well. Will gladly show pics and help out others asap. Even ideas where to get aftermarket/used/cheap replacements would be great!
Thanks!

I just paid it forward and sold my SV650 handlebars for the cost of one and should be shipping my left stock handlebar with essentially a free turn signal later today. I forgot that this is the thread for paying it forward.

Anyway, it's been a while since anyone offered anything here, so let me get the ball rolling again:
Straightened right handlebar for the cost of shipping. I didn't even know it was bent and crossed the country with it before I took it off and compared it to the left bar. It came from a near-0 MPH drop when I was stopping in the dirt at GMR. Even so, straightening it made a dimple that I will show in pics later today, so it isn't going to be as strong as a bar that was never bent. Pretty sure it's serviceable, considering how many thousands of miles I put on it without knowing it was bent!

Edit: Bar ends went to @gilmorec61, who's also seeing if the newgen handlebar fits on a pregen.
