buying a DRZ400S
Going through he process of purchasing a 2007 Suzuki drz400s. Should be able to pick I up next week. Has around 3k miles. Comes with fresh rubber front and back and another new rear tire on the side. Has a full exhaust system, carb has been tweaked. Really mint. Decided to sell the ex650 for the two duel sports. I never really realized how much I missed dirt riding. Can't wait to hit the trails again. Only picture I have for now.
Also found 2012 tw200 Yamaha for a steal. 900 miles. Some old dude had it for his rv. The two is for the boss lady. |

I love DRZ's!!! You gotta get a SM set up for it though. Not instead of the dirt set up but in addition too. Supermoto's are a blast!

My plan is to get a DRZ to replace the KLR some day, and get a much better bigger bike for touring. And a cooler cruiser. And a sweet corner carver. And an awesome trail bike....
Oh yeah, only the first sentence will happen...lol

Picked up the bike last night. Front end is tweaked a little. Think I can just loosen the trees and straighten it out. But its a great little bike. Big enough to commute on, but it really shines on dirt. (Obviously).

thats because you live in a great are for the off road stuff. I get fields, and two tracks in the sand. I did a wet hill climb in the red clay. I tried 4 or 5 times, gave up, and walked the bike back down I was so tired

I'll actually be down that way (kind of) Starting the 14th. I'm going to be staying in Tellico Plains. We have ended up in NGA a few times, like with that hill climb lol

Guilty! The tw is a blast! That's a cool little bike. Very predictable. It tops out at 68 with me on it. My wife loves it.

Well, I must say I love this bike. It's a riot to ride. But you will get yourself in trouble with the fuzz if you ain't careful. Lowsided it a few weeks ago. Nice little rash. That t shirt didn't do a thing!! Didn't have gear on. Rode dirt all day and hit a paved road once. That's when I wrecked. Lol. Such good luck. I broke a blinker housing but it still works. Got to love a tough dirt bike!

Yeah, it could have been worse. Bought a jacket of sorts for off road and a decent set of gloves. I almost always wear leather. It just isn't practical on dirt going 35 moh all day.
