this time for real ALASKA!!!!
ok those of you who have been here for awhile remember TR's and My FAILED xmas vacation to warmer parts. We only made it to the airport 2 hours away to walk into the hotel for the night before out flight. NOT 2 (two) steps in the door after risking life an limb to get there in the worst ice ridden highways in probably 20+ years.
Mr. doom who just had to tell everyone who crossed his path. "Oh did you hear Alaska air is closed... no deicer for DAYS" ok we went home but you all heard about it. over and over and over. We missed the chance to meet up with Kjohnson and Many Cavies in the warm Palm Springs land of lala!! First vacation for more than a couple of days in 10 years. blewwy!! ALASKA Baby!! we were given a fishing trip by our friends (blew his knee bummer) and they gave us their milage too! for the family discount deal 1/4 the cost for 6 days and nights all enclusive fishing vacation on Sumner straight. Access by float plane only. I am peeing my pants We will be gone on the 12th and until then you will all be updated daily... 9 nine that 9 days to liftoff.

Good for you guys, Z.
I'd ask for some of your catch, but I wouldn't want to check my mail for a box of week old fish at the post office. Enjoy the vacation... too bad you guys can't take the bikes. |

alaska is one of the places i want to go to. i know a few people who took a cruise from washington up to alaska and loved it.
i wouldn't fish though. i can't kill any type of animal. i have no problem eating them though. |

I went to alaska like 3 summers ago in may...still pretty chilly...but possibly one of the most beautiful and serene places I've ever been to. I went on a day kayaking trip for fishing...trust me you'll catch more fish then you can possibly eat

I find myself jealous of you! I would LOVE to get away to Alaska for a week! It is SO gorgeous there (at least what I have seen from others vacation photos!)
Take loads of pictures and post them up for us, that way we can pretend we went along too! Have fun and enjoy your time away from the connected world!

ok we are back!!!
Amazing!!!! Link to our Alaska trip if you want to check it out. Complete nonsense and lots of slides. so click fast through them Most of you will not be interested but some will it is a long slide show and not motorcycle related but we got this awesome chance to go to a fishing lodge in Point Baker AK. It was an amazing experince. No motorcycles sorry but hey we didn't even see a car all week. lots of planes and boats and WHALES too. Click fast through the show . lots of nonsense.. It was cold about 50-60 f. but the water spray made it lots colder. we wore tons of clothes. Home cooked meals and amazing staff.
