Cool! I currently have a 2006 Mustang and a 2009 250, but I am about to order a 2013 Mustang and am definitely looking at the new '13 300!

No choice, white is the only color released. I wanted black w/ABS but then learned that ABS is only on the SE model and I am not paying an extra $200 for a color scheme I like less.

I had a black 650R, black SV1000S, and a black 1000RR so I decided why not pop a white one instead of waiting another month for black.

The bike is excellent. My Yamaha WR250R is the only bike that rivals the fun factor. The power is very similar between the two bikes. It has more low and mid range power than I ever imagined it would. Yesterday I was in 6th at 4k RPMs merging on the freeway and just rolled on the throttle to keep up with the car merging in front of me. Never did that on a Ninja 250. The engine now feels like a baby 650R in terms of powerband and smoothness, albeit with a much flatter top end (11-13k). I think with exhaust and a power commander it will greatly improve top end pull and become my favorite bike.

Excellent job Kawasaki

If you're getting a V6 I'd go with base model + perf package only. Save $$. If you're going GT you have to spring for the premium. Better residual value and you get the track apps and nice leather w/ contrast stitching

Also, if its a DD don't get black. Ford's black is terrible....not metallic at all so every tiny water spot and swirl mark shows up. I get it hand washed twice a week (dont have time to do it myself) and if still looks dirty the other 5 days.

What were you thinking of ordering ?

It's always on when you turn on the key and don't yet start the bike. Same on 250's.

The swing arm looks too small compared to the rest of the bike on the 300

I am getting a GT premium Convertible (with the Brembo pkg, Comfort pkg & spoiler delete)... I definitely wanted the track Apps! And my current one is white with red interior, but this time I am going for black with red interior! This will be my 5th Mustang! And one I plan to keep for a while...

Here's a pic of my current car I will be trading in... Sad to see her go, but looking forward to the new car:

And it's basically a garage queen/weekend driver (and I have a car cover as well), so I am not too worried... My daily driver is either our Mini or the 250... No matter what I am driving, I am usually having fun...

I almost got the Brembo package but I live in an old neighborhood with brick roads- the test drive beat me up with that package. Smoother ride with the 18s.
The Brembos also leave a lot of brake dust on the rims and the factory brakes are limited by the tires- the Brembos don't seem to improve stopping distance. I did spring for the 3.55 rear axle and Torsen diff though.

I was dead seat on recaros until I drove one with them- lose the power seat and they are snug but get hot fast because of it

Limited tires size isn't too big of an issue as I'll eventually upgrade the rims/tires anyway, but I like the added tuning and tighter suspension the Brembo pkg bring. I don't track the car, but with my local Mustang group, we do take 'spirited' cruises through the twisty hills around here and I think the slotted rotors should help keep the brakes cooler at least on those trips...

Sadly with the convertible, the only option for gearing is the 3.31's, but like my current car (which I switched over to 3.73's), I upgrade the gears at some point too!

I loved the feel of the Recaros (man, they feel nice a snug), but with the Vert, I wanted to get the heated seats this time (which is nicer in the spring and night cruises) and the comfort package comes with the added electric seat for the passenger! Plus, they don't come in red...

It's also getting a redesign and will be a bit smaller (they are going into the European market, part of their globalization)... All coming in the 2015 model year... But so far, from what I have seen/read, I am not happy with the direction they're trying to go, which is why I wanted to buy now...

Meh. I go through cars too fast to care bout what is coming out in a year or two. I usually keep a car for about a year.

It handles like an American car (good not great) so I don't care. If I wanted a car that handled well I would have bought another M3. It is a muscle car and the solid axle doesn't bother me one bit. Plus, it was like $38,000 and the cars I was cross shopping with it were all over $50k so if it spontaneously combusts tomorrow I don't care it was a bargain for the power and the head-turning factor.

I will probably never buy another American car because the build quality is SO FAR from Japanese and German cars it is stunning. I will enjoy the 5.0 for a few years and maybe keep it as a weekender or turn it into a show car. I have been seriously considering trading it in on a 2012 911 4S or turbo but tonight a girl was riding in the back and fell in love with the couch-like rear seat (mine is leather) and I realized I DID make the great decision as far as 0-60/sex appeal/comfort vs price.

Mustang is a car I want in the future, well either that or the camaro. I am only 17 so I really can't convince my parents to let me ride and take MSF.
