Don't know if that helps you much but there really should be no legal reason you can't turn your bike into a street fighter.

a big help! didnt think of looking there lol.

now i can start stripping to my likings and hopefully be on the road again!

my only concern was mirrors and turn signals. both ms and la dont require them (la does require at least a left mirror though oh wells )

will post pics soon as im done.

damn its hot outside!!

quick update:
went and got a new #601A bearing pressed it in and greased it up.
cleaned and greased up the wheel's inner bearings and started putting it back on.
got held up right now due to forgetting to get the new screws and stop nuts for the chain tensioners, seem's ill be needing a new chain soon too(getting a little stretched out..)

also took the upper and lower front fairings off, decided to paint the bottom portion of the tank flat gunmetal for now (the part that the front fairing kept covered.)

about to leave to get the screws then once im done and she's all cleaned up ill take and post some pics..

only thing left to do is figure out if i should put mirrors on or not..

having all that wind is gonna suck big time but got no choice (for now at least )

heres a few pics.

Looks good so far. With the license plate, maybe a couple of L brackets would do the trick.

thats what i was thinking..
but a bigger problem has emerged. ive either got a bent sprocket or a twisted chain..
so im just gonna save up enough to buy all 3 and change them out. when doing so i'll also be switching the tires over to the black rims and stunt them for a while

Just out of curiousity, how naked (streetfighter), are you wanting to go? I've got a great start on mine, still not done yet. i got plans to bob the rear seat to shorten the whole tail section a lil better than a foot. i'd be happy to lend some ideas
