Cleannn! Can I ask how you clean your bike? Mine is still pretty damn new and shiny and I just rub the dirt off with a terry cloth after I ride.
What windshield is that? |

jon,
nothing special buddy. get a good car wash soap, (meguiar's, etc) wet the bike down, use a wash mitt w/ plenty of soap and water. rinse regulary to keep anything from drying and causing water spots. start from the top and work your way down, save the wheels for last. when finished, rinse well. i use an electric leaf blower to "blow dry" the bike. this eliminates the need to towel dry (takes too long and can cause scratches, also gets the water out of all the nooks and crannies). to wrap things up, i use a quick detailer spray to wipe down all the fairings (eliminates water spots, any left over bug guts, etc). finally, i buff everything out with a microfiber towel. sounds like a lot, but really, it only takes about 30-45 minutes screen is stock - spray painted. free = best |
