Sportisi USA clipons - Installed
Well I got the clip-on's from matt 2 days ago and all I have to say is WOW THEY ARE GREAT. these are very light with them both in one hand and one of the stock handles bars in the other the stock one is heavier then both of the clip-on's the look and finish is great not a single complaint from me at all even the mounting hardware is nice, the install was easy as with all clip-on's it took me about 1hr to finish it by myself. I went on a nice ride with them and found that this is what I was missing the handling feels much sharper and crisp all in all for $110 bucks you cant beat it thanks Matt

Wow I wish I knew about these 3 weeks ago! I dropped about $170 for my Woodcrafts, and they do the same thing.
Do you ride through twisties? If so, how does it handle? |

I told myself that I was just going around the block and ended up going to Mt lemon instead and with the new clip-on's it was amazing. if you do not know how the roads are do a Google search and you will see it is a haven for the aggressive rider in the turns. I wish I had these for a ride I did last month up Hwy 191 witch is killer and down the salt river canyon.

Do you know how far you had to raise the forks in order to fit these, or how much total fork leg is above the triple now? (I have a calculator )

You should be able to use the fork preload adjusters in combination with these without any issue. These clipons will drop the height of the bars, as well as lengthen the reach to the bars a tidbit.
The Woodcraft clipons will drop the height a little bit more and so by geometry the reach will be a little bit further too. Bear in mind that the Woodcraft clipons are actually rising clipons, which is why they are only a little bit lower, even though they mount below the upper triple tree. |
