----------------- The intermediate class took their turn under the sensible sun of Brno and Sam Lowes was the rider to shine most, snatching the lead in the closing stages of FP1. The Marc VDS rider found over three tenths of a second on the opposition, which was led by a resurgent Joe Roberts, another of the men to show fine speed throughout the session. Tetsuta Nagashima joined the top three only seven hundredths of a second behind the American and was the last man within half a second of Lowes.
