Hello again
What's up my glip glops!
I used to be on the forums a couple years ago before i totalled my lil ninjette running into a prius (my fault). After that i got a vulcan 750 for cheap, That bike threw its balancer gear on the highway at 85 mph and nearly killed me soooo i waited a lil while before riding again. The urge to lanesplit has been nagging me so i had been perusing Craigslist locally for the deal of the year when it finally popped up! A red 2007 ex250f with 8k miles for 700$ !!!!!1!!1!! Snagged the ol girl and took her home. The usual "bought it for a project but never got to it" story.. I pushed her around the neighborhood to feel how she rolls and the battery charged enough to turn over! So i dont think ill even need a battery. Anywho i tried jumping it and it would start with no choke and idle but die with any throttle. I cleaned the carbs and almost got them back on the bike before i had to leave for work. So here i sit at work, wishing i was working on my bike at home. It even came with the 2 previous owners paperwork showing a guy paid 2500 for it 3 years ago =p As far as i can tell its been dropped or knocked over once. Light scratches on the right muffler, super tiny scratches on fairing, bigger scratch in bar end weight. Unfortunately the front fairing cracked when it dropped and the turn signal stalk broke =/ In the photos it looks good but when you get the fairings off the right mirror alignment holes have basically snapped off. Not sure if im gonna run with the streetfighter look or try to find a perfect fairing.. either way im still super happy with the price. So if any of you hooligans are tryna make a run out to Palomar Mountain anytime soon count me in! |
