Custom '09 Ninja. With swords too!

Kinda wondering how this thing will be received. Ah well, I like it. Swords, throwing knives, ninja stars a pair of nunchucks and some custom paint.

Are those pointed fairing bolts on the top of the left and right fairing?

It's unique. Looks dangerous in an accident.

I think it is funny, in a good way. but as someone pointed out you bring new concerns when crashing. "I was fine till the bike spun and the throwing knife stuck my femoral artery...oh well price you pay for being bad@$$ am i right?"

They are. The windscreen is held in with silver ones, black ones on either side of the gas tank. Fit the color theme rather well!

Everything's grounded down that you could rip it across your finger and it'd tickle. No worries. Unless my bike jumps up and stabs someone with the throwing star... But at that point it'd be the least of their worries.

dull doesn't matter if there is enough force behind it and a 370lb bike can deliver.

I had a friend in high school who wrecked a sport atv and the break lever punctured his calf muscle. Yeah.

I assure you when we were doing this we were having a blast just because it's different. An obvious play on words. But we took it seriously enough to eliminate as much danger while still preserving a look and some uniqueness. Those swords have no metal in their sheaths by the way. All gone.

I guess we got tired with choppers having all the fun (guy up the road has 2 real sawed offs on his). Which, from my perspective is a little more scary than dull stainless steel. We did it cheap, made it reversible and get a lot of looks.

I get tired of having the same thing as everybody else, but what we ended up with was far beyond what we planned. Still. For what it is, I think it looks rather nice an take a lot of pride in making it this clean.

Other than the paint, I think everything else looks like trash.

Just my opinion, it's your bike so do what you will to it.

Thanks!

By the by, we stared out with an attempted naked bike with a Suzuki speedo and the head lights mounted under the handle bars with the side fairings cut in half. For about 25 hours of work I'm happy.

Can I ride it??? Not my style, has cool points, it's unique, and it's yours so nobody else really matters much if they are negative about it

Sure you can ride it XD. It's not everyone's bike that can handle everyone's riding style, no, but for a scoot through town or even a ride in the country out here, it's a nice conversation starter. She may not win over the hearts of every type of rider or, perhaps, any rider beside my self, but she's not the worst I've seen. It's not chromed out or stretched or slammed and called custom and being able to have something that's different is good enough! . (I think the 3 tone paint is awesome my self)

I'm telling you, you need sickles as levers, the sickle handle would be the actual lever and the blade part would point forwards.

how is this a bad idea?

I couldn't find sickles sharp enough.

Maybe the next bike.

I put on a helmet and gloves to pull it out of the garage and strut around the parking lot of the shop we worked on it at. I hadn't rode it in over 2 months so I didn't think to bring my s&s boots or alpine stars jacket. Way too excited to skip out because of the fear of road rash at 10mph :P

Only getting to work on it 3 days in 2 months makes you go crazy enough to do anything. I think I may have even hit 11mph. God have mercy on me ^_^

Well, just one more piece to fix. Along with the bike coming with cut-in-half side fairings, the undertail had a tire wide hole in it. You know the drill, "It was just lowered an inch I swear, I didn't even feel it bump."
