look ma, no plastics. 22 days later
here's my intro...
http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=86548 got my bike sept 21, w/ a super chrome ebay slip on, been buying things here and there cf triple tree vinyl, cf gas tank pad, swingarm spools, front and rear stands, jardine no cut fender eliminator, - hid's and seat cowl next!! and now here's my go mods plmfg full exhaust - got on here for $100, new w/ a dent on swingarm side and heat wrapped!! k&n pod filter - new mini filter crank case breather - new factory pro stage 3 jet kit, got on ebay for $45 only missing #40 warm up jets emission removed from what i gather i should run 112 jets and factory 38 warm up, but please lmk what you think. as of right now, my bike looks like this...   all the parts minus plastics are on the ground around the pregen 250, my gfs. and all the bolts and put on the bike where they go, or they are sitting in a neat pile. i'm not the reason for the messy garage lol, i just use it and have some tthings in it.. --- here's pics from after my intro thread until tonight,        jardine no cut fender eliminator will be here tomorrow so i'll have the back put back together, and will start to putting jet kit and k&n pod filter on after, hoping for lil better weather to ride it and fine tune the carb/jets someone give me ideas of what jets i should run my gf's dad is going to be helping me take carbs out, put jets in, needles, etc. i'm new to bikes. period, i can work on cars tho. the pregen 250 is my gf's she started riding when she got it march this year, i didn't start riding til september, lol when i turned 23... she's got pod filter, stock exhaust, dyno jet stg1&3 that still needs help her dad just thru a jet in blah blah,hers still runs lean her bro also just started and is buying that 94 katana 750 also in the pics, it's got alot of go fast, i was scared riding it in the neighborhood hahahaha this forum is awesome. glad i started riding, not regreting getting a 250 ninja everyone likes it, no hate so far.. ya it only goes 100 but it's all you need to go in the city idc! i have not drove on the highway yet... |
