Unable to disable alarm SPY 5000M

I installed the Spy 5000M but Im unable to disable the unit from the beeppers as soon I press unlock the unit goes to set time and Date. I press the code learn buttom at the unit to see if any change in the system same results also took battery out from the beepers and set it back in and notheing same results. If anyone has any sugestions let me know please.

I think you need to check the wire connections with the battery.

Little more info, cause in my reading it sounds like your having issues using the remote.
