Looks good. Are you going to paint the lower cowl and front fender to match or leave it as is?

Are you running the 003RS's in 140 or 150? Show some track pics when you get them. I bet you can't wait! Good luck and have fun.

I painted the fender and lowers signal orange on purpose. There are too many green Ninjas; I want to stand out on the track.

I'm running the 140. I'm heading to the track this Sunday to test it.

I've never tracked a bike so please forgive me if this is a noobler question, but what's the coil of cable in front of your clutch and going over the left cowl?
Very unique paintjob though, you'll definitely stand out.

I've got an AEM wideband Air/Fuel guage hung on the bike. The coil is just extra wire I haven't had time to shorten. It is a temporary mount so I can move it between bikes. I'm using it to get the jetting dialed in.

Looks good. But no clip-ons? I thought that was a standard track mod.

I generally don't use clip-ons. I don't use rear-sets either. I'm cheap and don't change things unless they really need to be changed. I'm more into being a racer than looking like one. That being said I will probably change the bars on my '08 simply because the bars are not replaceable. With aftermarket bars I can carry a spare just in case I accidentally break one at the track.

Craig,
You will be amazed at how much more in the "attack-mode" you are with Woodcraft clipons. I was astounded at the difference. Bike is looking great! |

It works. I can't really say how it compares to the other brands but for the price I had to try it.
