SHINTO Group Design Thread

Ok, so i am sitting here Designing new items to make..when i had an idea....
Why not let you guys have a say in the Design....
I know what i like, but how many times have you said."i wish it..."

Well here is your chance...

Today i will say, lets Design a Front Oil Filler Cap (to replace OEM)

Of course, the colors are of no importance, as you know, i will make all the colors..

so just give me your feedback, your ideas, your "that would be nice"..
and the finished product will be Produced!..
Well, it will be made if its do-able...lol... i cant make a oil filler cap that has complete NHL team playing hockey.. so be sensable with your ideas lol..

OK...here is a blank cap i just mocket up, the sizing is not correct, its just somthing for you guys to get an idea..
The sides will have Shinto Racing Accessories (as shown)

Hope this works, and if it does, i will do more!!!

NICE!!!

i would be down for this, it would be even better to make a package deal with the rear reservoir cap and oil filler cap all together

ive been planning on getting some but its hard to find a company that make all 3, since anodizing creates different shades of the same color

An alternative to full rear sets.....an adapter to move the stock sets back & up a tad. That'd make a good combo with your handle bar anglers

maybe i will make some soon, got alot of other things in the works at the moment..
over the next month or so, you will see a serious burst of new Shinto Products..
maybe i can add the extenders to that list

If you want the angeld risers, put your vote on the risers page, so can get some support, then i will make a new load..

+1. Should include a longer shift rod linkage and ideally be designed so the existing rear brake light switch, etc. can still be used.

If the frame plugs are coming out soon you can add them to my order haha. And if it was a tasteful decal and not too big...dont see why not. It would have to be the right color though

I'd like to see an accessory mounting plate that fits over the fork tubes when using clip-ons. Black powdercoated.

Yeah, something like a bridge that fits across the top of the fork tubes, floating an inch or so above the triple clamp. I have one for my KLR650 and love it.

People put stickers on everything!

Personally, I wouldn't but that's just me. I know a lot of people that have A*, etc. plastered all over their bikes. Whether or not people put them on bikes isn't that big of a deal. What you want is them put up on SOMETHING be it a bike, a toolbox, a trailer, a toddler, anything will get the word out...

As far as the brake reservoir cap that you have I think it looks good the way it is, simple. Maybe like Matt said, change it to "Racing Products" but that depends on the company name and goal, so it's not lightly changed...

Absolutely not.

Hell yea, go on, send me a nice sticker with your bands logo and i will put it on a track bike!..

The reasons i ask, is when i look at other people's bikes, i see Alot of guys sticking the brand names of the products they use..
Perelli, Yoshimura, 7/11 Rattle can, etc etc...

just wondered would i be wasting money getting profesional stickers made up..

Gereneally i have had good feedback, saying yes.. so the stickers are in process.. ready next month..

im not a personal fan of totally decking your bike out in stickers, but one or two placed in the right spot can be ok..

oh i should mention, my stickers messure 1ft by 3 ft..... MESSING!... imagine the Ego i would have to have to chuck them in the post to you lol.

That looks real nice. How muc does a pair like that costs? Does it need some rubber gasket to seal? I'd hate to have brake fluid leaking all over

the inside is exactly the same as the OEM, so you just use the OEM Rubber to seal. no point adding extra costing on items we already can re-use.

Dont come in pairs just the one is needed of course.

i have not set pricing yet.. i am thinking like 25-30 bucks.
