stock tire replacements

Ok so I am still on stock IIRC tires bike has almost 1900 miles and the rear is squaring off. Now 90 percent of my riding is commuting. The front seems fine. On all my other bikes I usually went thru 2 rear to 1 front. Any suggestions for a sport touring replacement tire in 140 rear and 110 front that will be longer wearing?

No I mean 1900 miles, there's still tons of tread left but u can visablly see where the tire is squaring off from all the highway miles. All my past bikes were for purely sport riding not commuting so I never had problems with tire wear like this

Not defective its just starting to develop of the 1900 miles about 1700 are highway so it was expected I was just wondering if there was a sport tour tire vs. Sport tire recommeded. These stock ones suck all ways.

You probably should spring for a dual-compound sport-touring tire. Bridgestone Battlax BT-45's are about the least expensive.

I have 17K on the Battlax rear tire, on my 650R... Just made it to the wear bars, and it's not noticeably flattened off.

I am about to change my IRC Road Winners as well, but I have 6000 miles on them . They still have thread on them, but I want to go to Bridgestones. Mine are fine, but then again I don't use it just for commuting, I try to avoid riding just straight so there is no squaring off for me really.

Pirelli Sport Demons in stock sizes. Absolutely fantastic tire that will inspire you to turn more often.

squaring off really isn't a big deal if you're mostly commuting. 100% of my riding is highway commuting - my rear is really squared, but i didn't get down to the wear marks till 10,500. keep your tire, replace with bridgestone bt-45 when you get to the wear marks.
