So I finally got around to installing HID's.

I dismantled the bike...

Then my bike decided to take a seat at the table, use my laptop, and figure out where we go from there.

And so we ended up with HID's! The lining looks high there, but I actually need to adjust it up just a little more. I dont think I blinded any one, and its actually pointed down so far that the adjustment nob wont turn any more. I need to fix that a little.

The difference is like night and day. And when I turn on my brights, it looks like someone turned on the sun lol. I love them.

6500k 35w. You dont really notice the blue tint until you turn the high beams on. Even then it washes out a little lol

Sorry about taking forever Katherine, I completely forgot about this lol.

Here is the link:

http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DD...rcycle-HID-Kit

Its pretty cheap. Just be sure to point them down low enough. (But not too low like me, or you'll have to go in and fix it up.... eventually... lol.)

35w, 6500k. But I may suggest perhaps going to 6k max. My bulbs are pretty blue and it does diminish some of my vision, unless I turn on my brights lol, which then I see everything. lol

And the bulbs are H7. Installation is pretty basic, plug and play really.

You can find a little more information on this thread: http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=95438 if you scroll down a little on the first page.

Well, that works cause 6000k is all that's available. 8000k is the next option.

DDMTuning is actually down the street from me. I had their HIDs on my car. They aren't bad at for the price.

@Eric Im not sure lol. It because of my last class, which runs till 8:15. So Im never sure if people will be there. Plus, I'm always tired by then lol. I might. Buuuuuttt I need to do some service. Im at like 2600 or 2500 and haunt done anything since my 600 mile service. :-\

@Katherine I will admit they are pretty blue. When I turn my brights on, its not that bad. But thats why I recommended 6k and under. The lower the k the whiter the light.

Eric, I don't get out of class this month on Thursdays until 9, so I'll be getting there late too. Don't worry, people will still be there. And for the service, the next one after 600 miles is at 7,500 miles.

Some really cool pics here, and some from group rides. Cool in my opinion any who. The first btw, is just a pic with two random bikes at walmart. Was weird because when I came there they were there, but left they were gone, and as I was leaving, 3 more separate bikes came lol

read through some of the thread. your bike looks sick. def like the black series. might want to consider frame sliders though. everyone goes down sooner or later.
