*cough* Koso Gauge *cough*

That looks so sexy. And I emailed Koso, they said that if I want, when I order it, they can set the odometer to read anything I want. So I was thinking having it read about 100-200 miles more than what the bike has on it when I order it, and then install it when my bike rolls to that value so it's actually accurate.

Bleh, I don't like the Koso gauges in there. It looks so ghetto just plopped in there with that bezel, since they're so small. I think that unless you actually fiberglass a new cluster that's molded correctly, it'll just look cheap.

+1 I seen somewhere in another thread there was a person that made custom bezels for the koso.

Hmmm, which of these two screens to go with. (No, they're not pics of the 250 screen but they show the shade difference of the two).

Just curious as to how you shelter it and how its holding up in the outdoors. I have a driveway to sit mine on and I am going to buy a shelter for it but I have no garage space either. Haven't gotten my bike it's gonna be 3 more weeks but I am just curious what to expect.

It's held up fine, I don't even have a cover for it.

And as per the stolen, it's been fine so far. And if that does happen, yes I'll be upset, but my insurance does have theft coverage.

I think you should be fine....not everyone can afford the luxury of garage keeping every vehicle they own, or boast about how their bikes never see rain. Some people actually RIDE their bikes for...I don't know...TRANSPORTATION. I'm sure your bike will be fine outside. I've seen plenty of other bikes that are kept outside as well and hold up pretty good. As for the theft, I'd say it really depends on where you live and if you feel secure about that area. Could also maybe try to get one of these disc locks people have.....and if all else fails, you've got insurance.

Don't waste your money on an alarm though. You know when a car alarm goes off, and all you do is say "that's annoying", well, that's what everyone will do about your bike. Get something (if you are going to) that can actually prevent theft, or help retrieve your bike (LoJack). If you get a regular alarm, make sure you get an alarm that could send you a message when it goes off.

Bike keeps looking better bro! My first mods should be here Friday, and hopefully after new years I'll have some money to make my bike a bit more interesting than a boring green 650r haha.

lol i wouldnt think a alarm is a waste. If in a public place people will be attracted by the annoying noise, Not sure but i would think most people will stop tinkering with the bike if they cant ditch the alarm.

Also keeps the strangers off if they hop on the bike to take a pic or something and move it.

Bike alarm[*] ($80-400): many companies sell motorcycle-specific alarm systems. These are generally good for a sense of security, and not much else. They'll keep casual thieves away, but as you have doubtless noticed yourself, when someone's car alarm goes off, most people's reaction is, "damn, that's annoying," without checking to see if that car is actually being stolen. Your bike will be no different, so an alarm will only be useful if you can hear it and respond to it. Look for an alarm with a remote pager to let you know when the system is going off. Otherwise, avoid alarms as being expensive, annoying and not very secure.

So I'm sitting around at home waiting for 3 packages to be delivered to me today. I have a few mods I'm waiting for to come in, some this week, some in a few weeks. None of them are here yet, but my Ninja did need a wash. Since I need to be home today to receive my packages, I figured it'd be a great time to wash her; so I did.

Mmmm, clean. I think this may be the first pic I've posted in here since I painted the windshield black as well. No that it's staying that way for long, as I have a double bubble coming in soon. Anyways, yeah, really liked how the picture turned out and wanted to post it.

Package from my best friend that has cookies and 'something else' and a package from my parents that I don't know what the contents is.

Back protector and chest protectors as well as my brake line and windshield should be arriving on Thursday. Tri sent all my turn signal stuff out as well, but that can't be tracked as precisely. The rearsets are going to be a bit still, but I'm not sure what the status is on my levers and clipons from MotoMummy...

Mmmm. Pretty.

Mine hasn't been washed in a month. Filthy. I normally wash her once a week, but at winter it's just too cold outside. I don't even want to clean and oil my chain in this weather so I've got the local Kawi shop to do it for me!

Motomummy takes forever to get their shipments. Im not sure if they wait till its ordered, then stock it, or what, but I nearly waited a month for my pazzo's from them.

Well, I just got an email from MotoMummy saying my order has been shipped. The tracking number isn't showing anything on the FedEx website yet, but I'll check again and see when it's supposed to arrive and then we can coordinate when we want to meet up to work on those.

Haha I'm tracking my tank pad right now. Every few hours I'm clicking on the track link to see where it is. It should be here tomorrow! Next up I'm finally ordering a new jacket to match the bike.

So my brake line and windshield should be here Thursday and the clip ons and levers on Friday. Let me know when you guys are free and want to install those.

Rob, still game for going up to Eustis on Thursday? Eric, you're welcome to join if you want too. It's a dealer that carries all the big 4 Japanese bikes; only one I've found around that carries all four, should be fun.

New windscreen came in today.

Some more mods tomorrow.

If any of you Orlando guys are free tomorrow (Friday) to help the clip ons and levers, let me know. I'll be doing the turn signals tomorrow morning/early afternoon and would love to get the clip ons and levers done tomorrow early/mid afternoon.

Took my bike apart today to install a full set of new LED turn signals that I got from Tri at modmy250.

Stock rear ones:

One stock and one new for comparison:

New ones:

Flushmounts:

And LED strips in the very front that flash with my turn signals (you can see them in the previous picture too)

And a short 40 second video of them in action:

Link to original page on YouTube.

Got my Driven clip ons and bar ends, ASV C3 levers, ProGrip grips, and Spiegler SS front brake line installed. The bar ends are a PITA to get on, but I finally managed to get them on about 30 minutes ago. Everything else has been installed for at least a few days. And now for the pics:
