Fuel Injector/Carburetor Cleaner
On my vehicles I usually add in a fuel injector cleaner every 3000mi.. usually the lucas brand:
However I've never used a Fuel Injector/Carburetor Cleaner on the ninjette. I'm not gonna argue that the best way to clean the carbs is to get down and dirty / hands out, but has anyone used a Fuel Injector/Carburetor Cleaner on the ninjette? any issues? improvements? I am thinking it can't hurt the bike to give it a try. btw, this is the kind where you add in the contents before fill up. I recently picked up a bottle of the Gumout Fuel Injector & Carburetor Cleaner: was gonna give it a try -- half bottle on my next fill up |

I use Sea Foam in mine every 6,000 miles before an oil change and it works great.
Note: I only use enough for 5 Galons, the rest goes in my truck. |

i have used and will continue to use a carb/FI cleaner every 5 or so tank fulls just to keep it nice and clean, always run it in the tank before putting in stabil for winter and the first couple of tanks after winter storage.

Personally I wouldnt add anything to the tank for cleaning the injectors(or carb for that matter). Clean the injectors the proper way at the fuel rails
