It defiantly takes time getting sed to it, with bad tires braking is almost impossible in a corner because there isnt much grip. But on slicks its so sticky :droll:

Yes, this is true, but it is a very advanced technique. For all intents and purposes (ie: street riding), stay off the brakes in a corner.

Not as cool as the other's action shots! LOL This was last weekend...I took my bike to an extra practice class so I can practice making those slow, tight cornering, turns, figure 8s etc on my own bike. Everyone else but one other person there did NOT have a license. I had forgotten how slow we moved on the parking lot...it was painful being behind these guys. I didn't like being in front either because they liked to get rightupbehindyoulikethis and REVVVV the throttle...I was scared they'd let go of their clutch by accident and slam into my bike!

My figure 8s sucked! LOL I couldn't keep within the box at all. My husband was watching and he said he didn't think my bike would fit in the size box they used *shrugs* but it did give me a lot more confidence to get on my bike and ride. What was also hard was we had been out riding since 10 am before going there - so my clutch hand was DYING at that point...and it was so hot that day, well over 90 and almost to 100 degrees in all that gear...

It took me a solid year of riding and practicing to get comfortable doing U-turns on the street. To this day, right ones are still tough for me since typically when street riding, only lefties are needed.
Keep practicing though! My first year, I took my bike to a parking lot at least once every couple of months to practice those low-speed maneuvers.

Edit: Our bikes will EASILY fit in those boxes, even better than bigger, faster bikes. Just lean it under you, counterweight, and most importantly, look behind you to where you want to end up. Something to work toward...fitting little Ninj nice and compact into those figure-8 boxes. Have fun!
