Helmet visors
Hey fellas, well I bought this helmet:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/120746959460...ht_3401wt_1163 and I sent a message to the seller about that I want a tinted visor to buy separately and he told me they didn't ahve any for that model.. uhh any other options perhaps ? do you know any visors which are compatible or something ? Cheers mates |

My tinted visor cost more than that helmet.
But as far as I know, visors are helmet specific.

Cheap helmet, but if you look in the Ebay ad, it has its model number (JX-A5007). Here is a tinted shield that should fit.
http://buy4ride.com/product/tinted-m...a500550025007/ and here is a smoked one: http://buy4ride.com/product/smoke-re...0055002-smoke/ You should really get a better quality helmet though. |

dont bother buying that tms helmet they are crap. the wind noise is terrible, padding sucks, and as for overall fit well they dont mine was tight on my forehead and loose down on the bottom after riding with it for a month I quickly saved up for http://shopping.scorpionusa.com/C55D...3C27FFE085AE9F and I absolutely love it. well worth the money

I got mine for only $80 and it's DOT approved and has the ECE 22.05 standard meaning that the helmet had to be crash tested before leaving the factory if I understand correctly (someone correct me if not). It's relatively quiet and fairly light for its size. AFX FX-90. It has got mixed reviews but for a beginner's helmet I think it's probably the best sub-$100 helmet there is.

DOT is not good enough for my head. I only wear helmets that are Snell Approved. Snell goes above and beyond DOT.

Haha, I know that it would be in the bin if my specific helmet were to have been crash tested

Just to be clear, guys:
Face shield - The flip down clear shield that seals shut in a full-face helmet. Visor - The flip-down thing inside of a street helmet behind the shield or the extension that protrudes above the forehead on an off-road helmet. |
