When you see me, it'll be with powder-coated blue rims, gray helmet w/ a visible Bluetooth kit installed, black jacket/boots/pants, etc. Well, I'm often wearing my uniform pants instead of the mesh, but everything else is always there.

Last night I rode past Brickhouse Tavern & Tap on highway 290 between Pinemont and Hollister Rd in NW Houston. It was bike night there and I saw a '09 green SE just like mine. I didn't stop-just riding around trying out the Roaring Toyz handlebar risers.

At least 2 new-gens around 12th Street and 1st Avenue, NYC. One red, one blue. I think there was a third bike but don't know what kind it was.

caliente103, great weather today for this time of year, right? I had a nice ride, hope you did too. dicer20, was that you I saw earlier? I was looking at the 2 new-gens for about 2-3 seconds as I rode by. For whatever reason I was surprised I was seeing 2 new-gens. lol The guy on the red one waved.

Two sightings in Austin, 30 minutes from each other:

1. Red newgen going eastbound on Great Hills, right around the shopping center where Starbucks, Sephora, and Newk's is located. This was around 11:45 am.

2. Green SE newgen entering the J.J. Pickle Research Campus via the visitor entrance. Made a right turn after passing the guard kiosk. This was around 12:15pm.

As I was riding my bike after picking it up from Area P status post new race exhaust system on pacific coast highway, I spotted a brand new 2011 SE white ninja 250. I literally had to chase him down and of course it wasn't too hard with area p's new race system. Anyways, he's a cool guy but was weirded out at first because he saw me chasing him. The lights kept turning green so it wasn't until a couple of miles of me stalking him when I finally got a chance to introduce myself and ask him to pull over to a greet and meet. He's a nice guy to take his time when he was on his way to work. Anyways, of course I had to tell him about Ninjette.org and to come and check us out. I told him the truth that we are the best ninja 250 forum out there. Here's a pic of his bike!

Passed a pregen pulled over just north of the Cabrillo bridge on HWY 163 on Monday afternoon.

It took me a while to get turned around twice and he had a buddy there when I finally stopped. He described a problem that sounded very similar to the current gen tank vacuum fuel starvation issue but said that there was already a mechanic on the way (didn't test opening the tank and starting). I wished him luck.

A little late posting this but last Sunday I saw a red 08/09 stopped at a light on US1 in Daytona. He was riding with a bunch of Harleys. I was on my way back from the vintage meet in Eustis when I passed him. I've been to Daytona during Bike Week the past two years (last weekend, last year and first weekend this year) and it seems as if it's gotten smaller than when I went in 2000. Anybody else notice this?

Black newgen on 303 in Hudson at about 6:20. I was at the light opposite them, they went by and i waved like mad. Then I realized not only had I just had my first ninja sighting, but the rider was a chick!! I would have chased her down and said hi but I was already late for dinner lol. btw idk if shes a member of this board, but if she is, HEY!!! Im the loud green and purple one.

Saw a black newgen riding down Central Ave, at the intersection with Canyon Crest Rd in Riverside.

Proof that 250R owners are reasonable people: After 6 months of riding in Barbados and seeing dozens of squid sportbike riders without gear, either sandals or no helmet or shorts, usally all three, I finally saw another sportbike rider fully geared up today. What was he riding? A 2008 Kawi Green Ninja 250R.

We both stopped, chatted. He's a local who hadn't taken the bike out much lately, talked about the good practicality and great fun of the 250R on track days, and we went our seperate ways. And yes, he said track days. I learned there is a track on island! A track!!!!!

In my defense, I was pretty distracted about the track on island. A track!!!! But given the size of the island, I'll see him again and remember next time.

I spotted a blue new-gen around Goldenwest St. and Bolsa Ave. in Huntington Beach. It looked like it had a lot done to it. I don't think he realized my white bike was a Ninja 250R until he was merging in front of me and he did a double take. Yup, we got white ones now. I was convinced that I won't see another 250R as I mostly use the bike to commute and it's usually the same people that I pass by. It's exciting just spotting another 250R.

By the way, that's a picture of my bike that Sherjay posted. Maybe the guy I spotted comes here...

I finally sold my 2005 ZZR250 yesterday to a dear Vancouver friend of mine named Joyce, who will likely join Ninjette.org, if not already. She is going to give the bike a sex change, from a "he" to a "she". I hope he doesn't lose any part(s) under the rear seat!

So I led her on a ride down to Spanish Banks with my '96 Katana 600. On the ride, we saw a green new-gen with another 2-3 bikes in one of the water-front parking lots, and a little later on curvy SW Marine Dr. rounding the University of BC campus, we spotted a black ZZR250.

So, it is 3 Ninja 250s, blue, green and black, almost in one place.

Spotted woman on an old gen black and light purple or white flames on it. May have had "leila" or some other name written on it. Was riding with a cruiser. On Guelph line.

Also saw a woman on a black new gen riding with what was presumably her husband on a black zx6 or 10...nice ass bikes. On New street.

Spotted a green / white / black 250 today by Spring Mountain; well the road that leads to Spring Mountain, ~5:10. Looked like a custom paint job (one that I've seen on here / another ninja forum before). Could tell by the back tire (at least I think I could tell )
