Funny but so dangerous. Dope really almost list his grip on the freeway when he went to fix his helmet...

I have never taken the back seat of a motorcycle, and I doubt that I ever will.

Funny video Anthony, good post!

Reminds me of when I bought my Cobra Mustang in 2003... I told the salesman I wanted to really test the supercharger out, he said he didn't care what I did as he wasn't getting into a supercharged Cobra again, LOL. It was hilarious. So after a 15 minute test drive I bought it... good times. Anyway, the R1 is a fun bike to ride on occasion, my cousin had one for years, reminded me of my CBR929 but smaller and lighter, they feel pretty much like a 600.

I really can't believe that was a serious test ride. It seemed too "filmed". That being said, I had some really good laughs. That was funny.

o.O
Umm of course it was filmed lol. That guy is a famous motorcycle racer, the "dealer" is a stunt guy most likely, and the bike had cameras on it. No dealership has cameras mounted to bikes.

I love that video, it's funny to watch, but not sure how I feel about the other guy almost falling off for real when he tried to reach for his helmet.

If he is a stunt guy, I'm sure he's done 10x more dangerous things than that. But the bike was going at 175 mph. If he did fall off, with his open face helmet, and a loose one at that, he wouldn't look quite so pretty afterwards.

Oh I'm sure he has, but even professionals can make mistakes.

Might be interesting to start a thread about motorcycle stuntmen who have succumbed in line of duty. I have no idea how many.

Ah! I haven't followed motorcycle racing so I didn't recognize the guy. Jokes on me.

I have twice. Hated it. it was fun once I got into leaning and got over not having a tank and handlebars to steady myself. never again. I got my own bike now and am competent to ride whatever is available.

vid made me laugh when he took the R1 through that river
