I took some pictures of the Ninjette on Calaveras road this afternoon; I think some turned out great. Some real snow on the peaks in the distance, this is a rarity here in the bay area.

That's a great shot Alex.... I'm totally jealous.

I love the Florida weather but I soooo hate that the fastest elevation change here is an expressway on-ramp.

taken on a downhill somewhere north of the Golden Gate, heading towards skaggs rd

we all stopped however because a dude lowsided his bike just up the hill and were checking to see if he was ok.

He has a brake light. Its an undertail with a smoked cover over it. Look up hotbodies understails.

You can see it clear as day when the bike is turned on and when you press the brake.

After watching that video I have to say that I do NOT like those heavily smoked lenses any more then I did before. When it was on it was extremely dim and hard to see, and the brake light was about as bright as the tail light normally is when on without the smoked lenses. The clean undertail is nice, but the turn signals might not pass in all states for being too close together.

I actually like the plate there, it's definitely unique too. It looks good imho. Though my favorite place for the plate is at the bottom of the undertail between it and the tire.

Basically all the questions were already answered. All I will add is that I also have a brake modulator that flashes the brake light 7 times before staying on. As for the legality of it, I will revert to my usual saying...

legal... illegal... such a gray area...

I personally wanted to keep the undertail clean, thats the reasoning behind the swingarm mounted plate. Different strokes for different folks but I definitely wont change it unless cops make me.

Grats to you too! Black is the true ninja color, and does look sharp on the bike.

Here is my "new" bike. Not the blue 2005 Ninja ZZR250, which I just sold yesterday to a woman friend of mine, but the 1996 Suzuki Katana 600. If I may, however, I will stay in Ninjette.org.

In the below pic, I am riding from the guest rooms area of the hotel to the reception area, so that explains why i am riding sans the gloves.
