Good product to shine the dash plastics...
do any you guys have problems with dulling and fading of your dash plastics? Any products you use to shine it up? I got some caranuba wax on a little area by accident and its left a white stained area...
They've also got over 30k miles on them so they're looking a bit aged as well.

The best product I've found to clean up and protect UV damaged plastic parts is 303 Aerospace Protectant. Can get it at many places; auto, boat supplies, Amazon, etc. It's not cheap, but worth the price.

I was going to recommend you buy from eShine.ca (great shop based in Port Colborne, I usually get my orders within a day or two) but it looks like they're out of stock. So check out autoobsessed.com, they're based in Vancouver. Shipping is still pretty fast. To remove the white wax stains, you can use a bit of all purpose cleaner (dish soap can also work with a bit more effort) and a tooth brush. Spray on and brush off. Just don't let the APC sit on any painted surfaces for too long, wipe/rinse it off when you're done. |

armorall original. Had some lying around in the family garage so I tried it. made my black plastics darker and now they really shine. My oil resevoir and some of my other metal parts are really shiny and black now, even after 2 really hard storms.

I used a restoration kit from Autozone specifically for UV-faded black plastic. I think it was a 3M product or something from Turtlewax. I found it when looking for Back to Black. Bottles came in a box with an applicator and worked great!

Spit shine. Tried and true.
It's also all-natural, safe for the environment, free, and readily available. |

303 works well, but I have been using this stuff (Adam's In & Out Spray) on all my vehicles now and love it: http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-517-a...-dressing.aspx
It turns any faded plastic/rubber surface back to black (inside or out) and just wipes off if you get it on the paint (or anything else you didn't want it on)...
