Picture Says 1000 Words (graphic)

I don't believe this violates any TOS, but if it does, please remove it. There are tons of pictures of moto accidents out there, many with gruesome pictures that don't need to be shared here. These are just some pictures of crash scenes. I think they're EXTREMELY humbling. Ride safe.

Most of us cannot afford situations like those; some just try not thinking about them; however, only a few actively work to prevent them.

In my humble opinion, 95% of the above mess could have been avoided at least 5 seconds before they reached those points.

Sometimes we all need a humbling reminder of what could happen in one careless moment.

I'm kinda wondering stories on these.

There seems to be a lot of melted bike bits, are fires really that common in a wreck? Or is it just the collection giving weight to a statistically unlikely event?

In the pic with the lady wearing a purple shirt, that car seems to have suffered more than just a head on with a Harley. What else happened?

In the one with the red cruised being rear-ended, what did it hit that crumpled the front?

Gruesome reminders on the dangers that are out there, but I really am interested in the details as to what chain of events led to this moment.

*hypothetical questions unless someone happens to have collision details at their fingertips.

Well though the images depict exact scenarios that can occur in dangerous situations there are plenty for any other vehicle. Danger lurks in all aspects of life, doesn't mean you shouldn't do them cause of the risk.

Definitely true. Cagers are exponentially more likely to walk away from highway accident than we are. Everything can change in a second, ride accordingly
