Track Day at Thunderhill

I spent last Monday doing another Track Day at Thunderhill Raceway Park. The weather was warm, around 100 degrees, but there was a breeze all day so it didn't feel too hot. The track was in great shape and the turnout was light so everyone got in a ton of riding. I spent half the day on my wife's street bike and half on my track bike.

After the races this weekend I'll be riding Laguna Seca next week. Get your bikes out and ride the Corkscrew with me.

They let you ride the bike on the track without it being race prepped? (referring to the first picture)

For Track Days we require minimal prep. Other than having a safe well maintained bike all you need to do is: unplug or tape the tail light and remove or tape the mirrors.

Every Track Day provider has different requirements. The idea is to make it as easy as possible for street riders to get on the track while keeping it safe.
