Lightbulb TaDy's 2012 Ninja 250 SE ( 2017 Project )

So hello everybody after a long gone i am back again and this time i decided to do a huge project to my 2012 ninja 250 that used to be a race bike.

I had so much work to do on it ( and money to spend )

Phase 1

1. I had to readjust the valve, replace the gasket and the rings.
2. repainting the whole main body Front and side fairings + Gas Tank.
3. Changed Tyres.
4. Put the stock handle bars on.
5. Change the spark plugs.

Phase 2
( Custom bodykit By TaDy )

1. New Front kit ( Raptor )
2. New font lights ( LEDs )
3. New rear lights ( LEDs )
4. Rims repainting
5. Valves replacement ( due to 4 of them being almost dead )

Here is some pictures of Phase 1...for Phase 2 a huge surprise

Before the whole painting :

tyres changed to michelin Pilot street radial 150 at the rear and 110 at the front

Readjusting the valves :

Stripping the paint off then putting the primer on :

And the stickers ( made by myself in inkscape ):

The side fairings ( sanding and painting ) :

Before :

Sanded :

Primer Painted :

Main Color :

All the Parts Done, Let's Polish it a bit :

Final pictures of the bike after the Phase 1 :

How about a translation for the writing above the headlight, or don't we want to know?

Yeah so here is the Prototype Number 1

This front fairing has been modified and molded with ABS Plastic to cover a part of the front headlights, this doesn't harm the headlights as i tested it for many times, but the main issue is ( low light ) the fairing actuallly covers the main field of light of the ninja so Light is dramatically reduced, and just make you almost blind at night, so i am actually planning to buy some LED lights and design, a new light system for this front fairing

Here is the first Prototype from 2015

That looks really awesome. Red has always been my favourite newgen colour.

I've never seen that exhaust before. Looks cool. Presumably there is no practical benefit to the two connected mufflers.

Also: I use Inkscape too! It took me quite a while to get used to it, but I like it. Once I memorized the hotkeys I was able to be more productive with it.

Hi, Thanks.

The muffler is an ixil hyperlow full system.

I used to have adobe illustrator but since i lost my license, i prefer to use good freeware, inkscape is indeed very easy to use once you got all the hotkeys, i am planing to do another design for another race fariring set as well too
