My custom 4 piston caliper bracket.

I didn't really like the oem calipers and I had a spare set of zx6r calipers and master. so I figured I could just use them on my zx3. I need to get a smaller master as the oem zx6r one is sized for 2 4piston calipers. But she still works decent enough. I did have to get a custom length line since the caliper is sitting lower than Oem.

How is the feel, compared to stock?

It's interesting that you made a bracket to get rid of the stock caliper, while it's a common mod for an old Kaw H2 or H1 to use an EX caliper with EBC HH pads and its matching master cylinder to give an old triple a modern feeling front brake. I make the adapters by getting 3/16" thick stainless laser cut, and finish the parts in my mill.

You can see a familiar caliper on this custom that has an H2 engine in an H1 frame.

interesting...how does it perform?

@rojoracing53 was able to mount his a little higher. I'm not sure how the leverage or position affects the wheel or braking as I'm too tired and too dumb to think of that math right now....

The height won't make any difference, as long as the pads are aligned with the disk OK.

My rotor is also 30mm larger in diameter which changes the tolerances for caliper placement.

If I had a bigger rotor I could probably mount it higher. But I didn't want to lose to much threads.
