Well, I was chasing you the whole last round, so it's only right that I return the favor. Let's at least get into the low 2:20s!

And IN for potluck. I can't really bring anything that needs to refrigerated though, since my ice chest is small, full of water, and never stays cold for more than a day anyways, but I can bring chips and salsa/nacho cheese, and I could bake something too if people like sweet things. Although when I buy cheese and salsa, it's the super wimpy, mild stuff, so DEAL WITH IT.

Dean can lay down and we can "TRY" to bunny hop over Dean's forehead. Sadly I feel his forehead will get the best of us.

AAAAAAAND just got the April email with what I assume is what Jon was eluding to:

A 6-lap UltraLightweight Shootout for 250cc street-only machines will be held on Sundays of race weekend.

Since they're not separating amateur and experts in the 250 supersport race, I really hope they don't limit the shootout to only experts. I really want to race it @_@

Word of advice...get yo shiet done before you get to the track.

I'm serious...especially when you're running 2 different bikes...last thing you want is to scramble and rush to get yo shiet done only to miss out on practice/race.

Finally checked my value clearances today. All the intakes were in spec and all the exhaust were not. My smallest feeler won't fit under one of the valves.

Not bad at all. These two DIYs were spot on!

http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=9787

http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=9924

It me about 3 hours (I think) and was totally expecting to F things up but all smooth. One bit of advice, there is a water intake/outtake (dunno the direction) to the rear of the value cover. Before you take the cover off, spray some cleaner between the two. I didn't and it was full crud, some of which fell into the engine.

Yeah, it looks that way. Last time I attempted the valve clearance I managed to break the damn cam lobe.

No way I'm doing this again. Wanna come do mine...I'll pay you to do it.

How did you break the cam lobe??? You dropped on the ground, didn't you?

I would totally help you but I'm going to be at chucky for the next 3 weekends. Driving a friend to the Pridmore school, then SocalTrackDays, then Race.

I wish, unfortunately I'm just transporting someone and their bike to the Pridmore school. And the weekend after is for jetting the carb. Someone told me my jets are too big.

You didn't answer how you broke the cam lobe!!!

Not the lobes...sorry...I meant the cam flange or whatever you call it. I posted a pic somewhere...I forget. I think I was trying to seat the cams @ the same time putting on the chain...something like that. Anyhow, be careful cuz those lobes are really soft.

Registration is open, and I'm the first to sign up!

I signed up for 250 production and ULW shootout. Looks like Bartlow will be back this round to stomp on us... hopefully he brings more people with him too! Decided not to do Formula Twins, gotta keep costs down this round!

Second to sign up! That's kind of the same as getting a podium, methinks. I'm also just running Supersport Saturday/Sunday and ULW shootout. Still on the fence about using femmewalla for extra tracktime, but I think I'll just save that money and try to make the first AFM round instead

Anyone for MRA @ Pueblo raceway June30/Jul 1st? haha

Awww T_T Who the hell gets married on a race weekend anyways? The only point of having a ceremony is to give people an excuse to get out of work, not blow their whole weekend. People these days, I freaking swear.

Oh well, I'm still going to try to make the first round for the extra practice and so I can capture more tracks on my pokedex/lap timer. I am PHENOMENALLY terrible my first time at any new track, so it won't actually help me in any way, really, but eh- I still want to do it. Since a recprocity license covers a couple months from what I understand, I may just be in for the June and September rounds too though

Carpool sometime?
