Carrying a concealed weapon?

Just wondering about favorite carry options while riding?

I ALWAYS have my p32 on me, no matter where I am. And if I'm gonna be going places I dont know or places I know are iffy I carry either my CZ-82, Star 9mm, or Kel-Tec P11. I'd like to have a good OWB holster for them with the snap enclosure. All my holsters are IWB.

Lol, the .380 squad, lol. I carry my SS 1911 .45 whenever I am out and about but have started carrying my Walther PPK .380 on the bike. It is small and lightweight and it's shape is easy to draw from a jacket. I just recently passed my personal and stringent qualification course with the .380 so it's good to go!

I carry different guns whether riding or not. I open carry and conceal carry depends on where I am going. If I am going to lots of stores while riding I conceal, if an all day ride with few stops and staying in state I usually open carry.

Actually, the reason I got a black bike is so my concealed carry would camouflage better....

Yeah, I know it's dirty, I got rained on this evening on the way home from the canyon.

From someone else:
I don't. I go to a lot of places that aren't local and I frequently leave the state and it's too much work to keep track of all the different laws.

I pocket carry my LCP.380 in warm weather and will go to one of my Sigs or my Steyr Aug in 9mm or .40 in colder weather. Depends on the conditions. I carry Israeli style.

I did too, never heard of it. I usually carry condition 3 (same as Israeli), unless I'm going into a place things could happen (I understand it could happen anywhere). If I'm going to bad places in condition 1 (locked and loaded, safety on).

I was trained in the following way: If it doesn't go "bang" when you pull the trigger, you are doing it wrong. Also, you shouldn't pull the trigger, or even touch it, if you don't want it to go "bang."

Totally agree with that, but I was also raised that a safety is just a mechanical device and could fail. I wouldnt want it to fail when its so close to such an important part of my body.

I understand all guns (now-a-days) have transfer bars and multiple safties. Once I feel more comfortable with the weapons I carry I'll prob Condition 1.

x 10, I cary C1 as every second counts. This is the reason that my glock is one of my favorite choices for trips to questionable areas. Either way training hard to learn your weapon and body is the key.

I like the fact that you understand your comfort level. Makes sense and I wouldn't expect anyone to attempt to live beyond that if not necessary. At least practicing with firearms is fun...

Springfield XD-40SC carried C1 IWB using a Crossbreed Supertuck. Keep it on me at all times except where prohibited.

Practice is key. I spend a few minutes everyday practicing my draw and dry firing from different seating or standing positions. Some would think I'm crazy if they saw me randomly draw my weapon inside the house but you can never be too prepared to be caught off guard. Accuracy from the draw is also important so I shoot at least 100 rounds per week at the range from various positions.
